Pants or Skirt

I need help from my peers! I have been debating for quite some time what to make from the black linen in my stash. It's between a pair of 1940's high-waisted pants and the Beignet skirt.


I have a list over at my blog for the reasons between the two. Please help me in my decision making for my next project after my dress!

As a side note, I've been wanting to buy new linen in another color for the pants and just be done with this whole thing but as I've signed up for the Thrifty365, I don't want to outright go and buy some full price at the local fabric store. And unfortunately, the thrift stores in my area are not so great....any suggestions?
