I’m Stacie and am a painter from middle Tennessee who can barely sew. Lately it seems that I have this impulse to commit myself to things that are ever so slightly over my head, and that’s where my excitement to be a part of Sew Retro comes in! I have a love of all things vintage with a modern twist. I also love the thought of being able to create all of my own clothes and am aspiring to be less of a consumer. I’m going to try Vogue Pattern No. 5723 for my first project because it says “Easy-to-Make.” We’ll see about that.
