Hi everybody, I'm Beth.Here's my first 50s-inspired dress, a halter dress made from a modern pattern. It's New Look 6557, view A and it reminds me of some old-school halter dresses like this one and this one.

I've also picked up some Vintage Vogue patterns, one a reprint of a '40s dress with curves and gathers along the front seam, and the other a reprint of a really beautiful '30s evening gown that I will probably never have anyplace to wear. (That won't stop me from sewing it, though!)
