A couple of more potential graduation dresses...

So instead of washing my dog or visiting a friend this weekend, I sewed and cleaned up around the house. I'm looking for the perfect dress to make for my graduation. I made up a couple of rather difficult Vintage Vogues this weekend. They are both made from fabric that
s been waiting in my stash forever. I was looking through my stash last week and realized I had a lot of fabric, so I've been trying to use it up, lol. 2669 is made from cheapo Walmart cotton, or rather cheapo Golden D'or cotton. 2354 is made from an old sheet I found at a thrift store. It's so soft and drapy. I suppose I should have used the newer cotton for 2354 since all the point might have been easier with less floppy fabric and 2669 would have looked awesome with a floppier fabric.

Both these dresses were very detailly. Right now, I am leaning toward sewing the first one, 2669 for graduation because I love the bodice gathers and shape.
