Hi!

Hello to all retro sewers out there ! I just joined the blog and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Amanda, I'm 25 and live in Columbus Ohio. I've been sewing for about 6 years but just started making clothes about 6 months ago. I log all my sewing, gardening, and other crafty ventures over at my blog, gnome-n-cla-ture.blogspot.com. I've had a love for retro and vintage style for quite some time, but after recently moving into my grandparent's late 1950's ranch home - complete with vintage furniture, etc, my love for all things retro has escalated. I really love vintage fashion styles from the late 50's - 70's, but especially love the pin-up style from the 1940's. (If I knew how to do it myself, I'd wear my hair like a pin-up every day!) I love vintage fabric and just recently bought a lot of 33 patterns, old and new, on eBay and can't wait to start making some of the classic pieces.

Simplicity #8192I have run into a bit of a snag that I'm hoping someone here may be able to help with. I went to start a new dress from one of the patterns that I won in the lot from eBay and realized that it's missing the back pattern piece. It's Simplicity pattern #8192 and it's missing piece D. I guess my first question is, does anyone here have this pattern? And if so, can I get a copy of that piece? My second question would be, does anyone know where I should start to try and find a copy of the missing piece? I really like this pattern (and so does the boyfriend) and have the perfect vintage floral print linen table cloth in mind. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Here's a photo of the envelope, hopefully it helps a little:

I love following everyone's posts and I'm really looking forward being a part of the group!

Happy Sewing!
Amanda
