Mad Men Competition in September!

In celebration of Mad Men making a return to our televisions on the 16th of August the competition theme will be to post an outfit/garment in the style of one of the characters.

Are you feeling like a Betty, a Joan, a Peggy, a Jane, a Rachel, a Trudy, a Helen, a Midge or a member of the typing or telephone pool? Are you dressing a man in your life like Don, Salvadore, Pete or Roger? Are your kids showing the Draper kids vibe in their wardrobes?

To enter for another great pattern prize from our sponsor all you will have to do is post a picture of your FO letting us know who from the show you think you could see wearing it.

The show began at the end of the 50's and is now into the early 60's so that you can get your patterns/style in the right period. So get your fabric and patterns out and your brain working!

We'll run the competition for the entire month of September so please don't post your entries before the 1st or they won't be counted. The project doesn't have to be one that you've sewn in September, you're more than welcome to post something you've made in the past or hold back on posting something you've made recently so that it can be a competition entry.

I'm really looking forward to this one as I'm a big Mad Men fan, I'm off to see what I've got in my stash so I can get ready.

Happy sewing!

Anna

PS In case you want a warm-up or have made something Mad Men worth already Banana Republic are holding a Mad Men competition which ends on the 11th of this month, you can find the details here.
