Well Hello

Hello everyone. My name is Holly Dai. I am a painter, sew-er, crafter, and burlesque performer. However lately I can't complete any of my costuming without only wanting to make Vintage Dresses. I have been following this blog for some time now and how found some very inspirational reads! I am in love with successful pattern to garment transformations.

I have a wonderful old singer 401a that I inherited from my great grandmother. I sewed my first official vintage pattern last month. It was a simple 60s sheath dress. I added a side zipper instead of a back zipper and created a tilt hat to match the garment. I have more details at my blog about the dress.
