We seem to be getting a lot of posts about freebies and giveaways at the moment. I don't mind seeing these posts appear because who doesn't want something free every now and again?!? I would ask, however, (as per our advertising policy which you can read here) that you only post once on Sew Retro about your giveaway. I would also ask that you not promote your business in any way on Sew Retro, I'm more than happy to add you to our links list so if you'd like to be added please send your URL to the usual email address.
When posting your finished items could you please add some tags to your posts to make it easier for everyone to find things? The blog is 4 years old now amazingly so there is a wealth of information on here. If you could add (or use an existing tag) for the pattern company and number (together, ie Butterick 1111), another for the year (or decade if you don't have a specific year) and another for the type of garment (ie shirt, skirt, dress etc) then everyone will be able to browse easily and see if anyone has attempted something they want to try, or get inspiration for a pattern to look for. At some point I will go back and tag existing posts, it's going to be a huge job so if you feel like helping out and could go back and tag your own posts that would be a great help.
