I haven't posted here in ages! I haven't documented much of my sewing in ages, except for quick snaps for Facebook...
This is Simplicity 3559, the modern reproduction of a 1960s pattern.
This is to wear a theme dress during a tour I'm giving. I was initially going to go with a solid fabric for something more subtle, but I fell in love with the Alexander Henry print.
This is an easy dirndl skirt from 1950s fabric.
I bought the fabric as a long, unsewn piece at my quilt guild's flea market. While it was probably sold that as yardage originally, it had at some point in its life been turned into a skirt, as evidenced by the ghost marks of pleating. Someone took the skirt apart somewhere in time and I put it back together!
