I've started 2011 as I intend to continue it, so here's my first finished item of the year!
I took Simplicity 1598 and turned the 1940s dress into a cropped blouse instead - the dress is also underway. I swapped the closed-back for a buttoned-back instead and all in all I'm really happy with how it turned out. It's something I will wear a lot as it fits well with my current wardrobe and general dress sense.
