I know it is kind of annoying to refer to every mid-century dress you sew as "so Mad Men" (eBay sellers are very guilty of this) but I definitely made this dress with Betty in mind.
The back is my favorite part. The waist has a self-belt that cinches in the back with a big bow.
I used Simplicity 4908 from the early 60's, vintage rayon purchased from Etsy, and vintage notions from eBay.
