It was my first dress using one-way directional prints, and my first collar! I had a little trouble with the side front bodice pieces. I was trying to match up the stripes and it was not going well. Some very talented commenters suggested I turn the piece on the bias and make it intentionally not match, as a design feature. I'm glad I listened because I love how it turned out.
