The one that got away!

I just wanted to share this dazzling and unusual pattern with you.  Although pedal-pusher patterns from the '50s aren't rare, they certainly seem to be in the minority to the plethora of skirts and dresses and to find a pants jump-suit from the era seems to be a very rare occurence. 

It was for sale on a popular auction site, I did bid, I am sad to say I didn't win but I did have a minor palpitation when I saw the final selling price for this lovely bit of history... have a guess what it sold for and find out here. I think I shall have to get the pens and french curves out and frankenstein my own from other patterns.
