Sew Retro Newbie

Hello!  This is my first post to Sew Retro.  I followed Sew Retro before I could even really sew.  So I guess you could say this blog got me started.  I sewed my first vintage inspired garment last summer and now I can't get enough!  I recently started my own blog where I post sewing and craft projects. 

I made this outfit from a 1940's halter pattern and 1980's sarong pattern.

Sewing Party!

This weekend I hosted a sewing party for four of my gal pals.  Everyone made the same 1940's halter top from Simplicity 1624.  We all had a blast and already planned our next workshop...pencil skirts!  Look at my blog for more pics!
