The weather cooperated for only one day this weekend, here in the Windy City, but it was just enough for me to go out and take some photos of my very first project using a 40's pattern.
I recently finished up the Dubarry 5836 skirt (unprinted pattern fun) in a cream linen and underlined it in a white cotton batiste. Other than adding in some underlining and shortening the hem, no other mods were made.
Oh, and here's the pic of the original pattern envelope:
The more I look at the pattern envelope, the more I'm wanting to make this cute top to match.
