50's summer skirt

I just finished this summery skirt that I made from the 1950's Simplicity 4648 pattern. This skirt is a gift for my best friend. When I bought a sewing machine in February I promised her I would make her something. I wanted to make it pretty both inside and out so I used bias tape on all seams. I also used some pink trim for the hem to add even more color!
