I had to have this pattern when I saw it, I do love a 70's shirt with a big collar, a yoke and cuffs on the sleeves!
I made the shirt using a thin cotton which required me to do french seams. It was the first time I'd ever done them and I am really happy with the way they turned out and how neat the shirt looks inside.
The pattern calls for a zip in the back but it's not necessary for the shirt so I left it out and just did a centre back seam (the back seam is slightly curved so it couldn't be cut on the fold). I then cut the back facing and the collar pieces on the fold.
I love this shirt and can't wait to wear it and to make another one using this pattern!
