1940's slip dress

This dress is from a 1940's slip pattern. It made a beautiful summer dress, the fit is wonderful and so comfy.

I used a knit fabric that I found at a thrift store (my favorite place to shop!), the only adjustment I made was taking a couple inches off the side seams, because the pattern was a couple sizes bigger than me. The top fit great without alterations. I also made the front panel and back panel each in one piece instead of seams up the front and back. It seems alot of the old patterns have pieced panels when they could've been placed on a fold to eliminate this.
