I am off to London's Vintage Festival at the Southbank tomorrow and this little project seemed like a very appropriate one to make for the event. I shamelessly copied the shape from a friend of mine's scarf to create a pattern for my own. I found the silk in one of my local fabric shops for £3/ half metre. No great feat except a good exercise in creating a baby hem. First time I have done this and worked with silk and it was time well spent for a really neat finish.
