DuBarry 2472B from 1940

I just finished up this dress to wear to the County Fair last week!  I made it from a rayon/linen blend with fabric colors inspired by the 1939 World's Fair.  More about this project on my blog here.

I haven't sewn much for the past couple months but this January I've been sewing a little almost every day and I've already finished a couple of projects.

I finished this dress last week and I love it! I never thought I'd like ruffles on my sleeves but these turned out well and they're not as unflattering as I thought they would be. Read more here
