McCalls 8634 - 1983
I will be the first to admit, I am not a huge enthusiast of the 80s. However, McCalls pattern 8634 from 1983 struck my fancy at the thrift shop this morning for 10 cents. I have a dream job sewing for a posh interior designer who collects her reminants in a large box for me weekly. I found a few pieces in the pile to sew up this early 80s peasant-style dress with a twist. The large sunflower was applied to the linen bodice applique-style from a pillow reminant . The skirt is a silky gold scroll fabric cut from the bottom of too-long curtains. How's that for recycling?
