So, I a dance to go to that I needed a dress from the teens. Last year, I purchased this reproduction of New Idea Pattern 9115:I found some fabric and the sewing commenced. It took me 2 months to finish due to the hand sewing on of trim. I estimate it took 28+ hours to hand sew all the trim. But, I think it was worth it. It wasn't ready for the dance in April. While I was making this dress, I was gifted a sewing book published in 1917 which actually helped me put the finishing touches on the dress.
