These shorts were made from this vintage pajama pattern, Simplicity 1230. I like to look for pajama patterns to use for period trousers! They're usually quite detailed (for something you're going to sleep in.)
And here are my finished shorts, in a peachy-pink linen.
The pattern required very little fiddling on my part to get a near-perfect fit. That never happens! I'm super happy with them and plan on several more pair in various lengths.
