I'm excited to join the Sew Retro community. I'm a seamstress from Alaska, and I am obsessed with dressing like a 1950s housewife. I work with some vintage patterns, and I enjoy reworking modern patterns to give them a more vintage feel. My current project is creating a Franken-dress by melding a button-down shirt pattern with my favorite circle skirt.
Here is a picture of one of the many versions I have made of my beloved circle skirt - this time in a classic black and white polka dot. Don't mind the dog in the picture - that's pretty common at some bars around here.
