i made this dress a while back and have been a bad, bad blogger. ugh.

my boyfriend's grandma gave it to me for christmas!

she also picked out the buttons- they are all kitties and flowers and hearts! (i fixed them after this fitting- promise they looked better!) she ended up looking like a million bucks in it- i was happy!
and in other news- and on a sadder note:
disaster struck at the hoarder house. the mega-douche-y children of the deceased (they are like, 50, not kids...) got upset at who knows what, and emptied the rest of the stuff from the house. i mean, emptied. where everything wound up, i do not know. all i know is that the last 8 months i have been working on organizing that whole house, sorting out sewing supplies and fabrics, and now they are all probably in a dump somewhere!
rage. oh, so much rage.
so, i do have a few boxes that i had already taken home to mail out... but not nearly as many as i wish i did. there were 60+ people who i planned on mailing things to, and now it looks like not even 10 of them are getting anything. ill be emailing those of you who were lucky enough to have your goodies rescued, but the rest of you- until i get another hoarder house to clean out, happy sewing....
