In Search Of: One Vintage Zipper
A friend of mine has a lovely vintage dress with a helplessly broken zipper, and I assured her that finding a replacement metal zipper wouldn't be a problem. Which means, of course, that I don't have the size she needs in my small stash of vintage notions, and she hasn't been able to find one online. Do any of you fabulous seamstresses have a 14" black zipper (preferably with black or silver teeth) that you'd be willing to sell? Or a lead on where she would be able to buy one? She's not in a particular hurry, but it would be nice to check it off her To Do list.
