60's/70's Inspired High-Waisted Maxi Skirt... for my 6 year old!

A sunny, Spring day in Seattle meshed with a desire to make a vintage inspired something-or-other for one of my kids equals this high-waisted maxi skirt out of a darling, cheerful material!  This is my first "vision was in my head and came out through my scissors and sewing machine" project ever.  After only 3 months of sewing, I was a bit scared to just randomly make something sans pattern, but it was really fun and I think it turned out pretty well!  If you like my skirt, want to see how I "upcycle" my kids' clothes, or want to check out adult vintage fashions, visit my blog sometime... fiveminutesmoreplease.blogspot.com
