While trying to figure out what to do with all those little scraps of fabric that are too small to be substantial, and too large to just throw away (and not, unfortunately, knowing the first thing about quilting), I decided I'd fill out the hope chest a little, and I made this little dress for 'someday.'
I didn't use a pattern for this, but it was definitely vintage-inspired. I love those darling little baby sundresses that you see at the vintage pattern stores, and I love rick-rack. So I experimented a little, and came up with this:
