Missing instructions and a ripped collar piece aren't enough to stop me from attempting a pattern. For Butterick 8459 I had to draft a new collar piece because the one in my pattern had been torn and was missing half off the end. When I bought it, it was missing the instructions so I just made it up as I went along. I constructed the bodice, which was the hard part, the same way as a blouse I made a while ago. It was also the first time I've put in a side zip. This was definitely a learning experience for me but I quite like the result.
