Mommy Dearest?

So, what do you guys think of Mommy & Me outfits? I think they are cute in measured doses, and I had some fabric left from my Paisley Dress, so I made a onesie for my little girly.
Simplicity 9128 again!
I got to use some more vintage thrifted notions, and it was a quick, easy sew. I have a few more pics over at my blog, Farmhouse Garden, though none of us together yet. Maybe for Easter?

Oh, I also bought this pretty dress to sew up for a wedding I will be Matron of Honor in this fall- my baby sister is getting married!
Have any of you used this pattern, or do you know of anyone who has? I think for me it'll be view three in cranberry dupioni silk with the lace overblouse. Wish me luck!

Ten Cent Christmas Dress

I sewed up a Christmas dress for my 8 month old daughter using vintage Simplicity 9128. It came out so pretty, and I am really excited to get photos of her in front of our tree for this year's Christmas card. All of the trimmings were vintage goodies from my late Grandma's stash, and the fabric was from a bag of scraps given to me by a neighbor. All I paid for was the pattern, and that was ten cents! Well, a little bit of work goes a long way sometimes:

See more photos and read a little about my girl's dress at my blog Farmhouse Garden. I hope all of your projects are going well too!
