and made it from some fabric in my mom's stash, it is the first dress I attempted, and I'm pretty pleased with the results.
The fit is very nice, after I took in a little on the sides (I'm in between sizes, so 16 is too big, 14 is snug), and shortened the hem.
I made it the night before my birthday and wore it the next day to church, it was an easy pattern, and I made another for my cousin, with slight variations (the white with red hearts). I gathered the neckline for a sweetheart effect, and changed the shoulder straps. I almost like it better than mine, good thing she is a bit skinnier, and I couldn't zip it the whole way, or I might've kept it.
