Happy Halloween !!!

I finally have a chance to wear my "Jackie Kennedy inspired" outfit!!  I bought a cheap halloween wig from Walmart and voila' ... I'm a flight attendant from the 60's!  I made this outfit from NewLook 6290 and I got the instructions for the pillbox hat from Threadbangers.com Have a Happy & Safe Halloween!

Lining a suit

I bought this suit a couple of months ago and am trying to replace the very ripped lining. I think the suit is probaby late 70s and it was very well made, so it's worth the repair job! I've never done anything like this before, and I'm documenting my process on my blog. I'm happy for any tips anyone can share on how to get this just right, so feel free to jump in!

little black jacket

Simplicity 6027's promise was quick and easy.

It was completly true and turns in a great success.

I wear almost every day my little black jacket!

I used a black technical fabric ( laine polaire?)
