Simplicity 2530: beach blouse

First attempt to paint on fabric... I made a beach blouse from Simplicity 2530 and painted it by hand in navy blue stripes. The pattern itself was very straight forward and so was the painting.

Sailor Playsuit

Ok, I admit its only vintage-inspired!

I used Butterick 5250 for the pants, and an old tried and true princess seamed pattern for the top. Its made from stretch cotton sateen, with a drafted sailor collar.
